whenever you guys make any noise in forums the opensat developer releases a fw with just comments "updated blah blah blah..."... they just take a hat & put the old firmware & just give new version that's how azbox developers work :)

They've probably sold enough boxes so why should they bother ??
Cheopscamd as a teaser also seems gone...

well just got a clone dbox due to the crap that azbox are putting out, must say its great to record six channels at once plus one freeview channel off the usb tv tuner. makes azbox look crap. still i will keep it till we see what happens with e2 ortherwise it will go. i also have to say if az dont get sorted soon they are going to lose a load of users and then thats the end for them and there poor service and disgusting user support and the way they deleat treads about problems with the box. :banghead:

Can anybody who is trying to put e2 on this box please stop as it is only dragging on hope for us poor unfortunates who think that one day we will get a decent firmware.

If we were to get a version of e2 then all we would be reading here is questions like when is there going to be a newer version and more blah blah blah.

Let's face it azbox is not able to supply a rev1 firmware release. Since I got this box all that seems to be happening is that original features are being removed as the firmware revisions pile up at an ever decreasing cycle and less and less interest is being generated in the box.

What seemed to offer promise at the start no longer holds up due to whatever reasons so the options are to suffer with what you have or sell it. A lot of people cannot afford to absorb the loss so have to suffer on.

So now I have got that off my chest I will just keep grinning and bearing it.

Hopefully Santa clause will maybe put me out of my misery.:302:

If I want to try to bring E2 to the box, what you have against that ?

If you dont want to wait , sell the box ...

@The_Ripper,

I believe nobody can have something against that and myself and a lot of others believes you and your team can make this happen.

As we can back in time, my first dreambox was a disaster and it cost months before everything worked smootly, and now a couple of years later it works like charm and also other receivers like the VU+ works fine due to Enigma2.

So I keep on hoping E2 will come quickly for the AZbox.

Keep up the Good work :)

Off course you are entitled to bring E2 if you wish, maybe I did not express my point well.

Once you or anybody releases E2 for this box then all the pressure will fall on you for updates and opensat get away scot free and have even less pressure to make a proper firmware, otherwise if they were serious about this box we would be seeing improvements as each month goes by from them.

But we continue to see no improvements as was the original thrust of this thread.

You are talking nonsense absolutely foolish.

Just sell your Azbox, interest should be coming up again.

By a VU+ duo or better a Dm800 clone and be suprised within a year
