harddrive problem

hi, after installing a new 250g seagate harddrive nothing came up on the menu. i read that formating the disc with my laptop should help. the laptop had no problem at all, i formated in NTFS. still nothing. What now. thx

Try formating the drive in ext3

are you using Dream Elite?

there's issues with their images and HDD

i'd suggest you install an official image on the flash itialize/mount your HDD with that, then reinstall your main flash image....don't take long...honest.:D

i have found the problem. i am not getting power to the drive. if i connect the hdd power cable from my desktop pc, all is well.
