Hi,
Your dish is plenty big as these are 2 of the strongest sats up there ie the beams that are aimed this direction.
There is 200+ channels recieveable from Hellasat and much more on *******.
The Bulsat package is currently open from Hellasat,

try dishpointer .co m m8,like you say 12 degrees from 28 east should take you to 40e dont forget your elevation will have to come down a bit from 28e probably about 5 or 6 degrees

your motor/mount should follow the arc follow the dish install sticky, where i am 1 west is top of the arc thats what you set it at you may have to tweek most easterly most westerly but they should be there or thereabouts,i always think its harder to explain than do have a good read mate

I am about 200 miles south of you. I have the same dish as you but you have to mount the dish on a polar mount.Unfortunatly polar mounts for the Channalmaster dish are next to impossible to find. Certainly not new ones and almost no secondhand ones available. As mine is on its last legs I took the precaution of making one out of a few bits of steel last year, but is still in the workshop until needed. I receive all sats between 42E and 30 W. TMULL

Benen,
Simon2003 is spot on.
Your H to H motor will follow the arc and so long as you can locate Thor (1W) then the rest should fall into place.
I'm assuming that you want to pick up Hellas sat & Hispa Sat so 1West is kind central and should be top of the arc.
Try using USALS if in your receiver??
If not, work using Disesq but make sure that you put in a strong FTA frequency for the sat you are moving towards or you will never locate it.
I changed my dish and lnb in the last 10 days and identified a landmark where 1West was pointing and was up and running again within 90 minutes....
But sometimes it is more luck than judgement!!!
Good luck mate....and don't forget to alter the requency and sattelite settings b4 searching the next Sat location.
