external hdd madness

i am using open pli image...
i have formatted my external drive using Hirens to ext 3...
i have plugged it back into machine using usb at rear..
i cannot find the drive and nothing is showing in menu...

can someone explain why and how i can rectify this :respect-053:

this is what i get when i telnet - mount
