Connect Using Orange Livebox ???

Hi

Having previously owned a Humax 5400 I have been away from the satellite scene for a few years but I am now thinking about buying a Spiderbox 900.
My internet connection is Orange and runs through an Orange Livebox router, has anyone successfully operated a 9000 with an Orange livebox?

My livebox is a long way from where my satelite box will be, can I connect them using a wireless connection or is the only safe method to purchase something like a home plugs network

Any help and advice would be appreciated

Hi Klingon i am using 9000HD on Orange Livebox works very well, my set up is Belkin 200MB Home Plugs. On the Livebox go into Inventel type in admin as username and admin as password you will see boxes one of which is Digital TV if you disable this it will make the yellow connection on your Orange livebox a second plugin cable connection for your Belkin Homeplug, connect Spiderbox to other Homeplug after matching the two Homeplugs away you go all set up. Hi,
if you are using CS with external access, don't forget to change the Password of your Orange Modem/Router.
Very easy to be hacked if you leave admin/admin !

There is a rubrique in the livebox menu where you can easily change the password. Very easy to find indeed.

Hi - I have same set up and was up and running in minutes - got the spider plugs from sponsor also which work perfect with the livebox and 9000.
