cccam install

hello all

could anyone help me to manual install cccam in my dreambox . since the dream elite server went do im lost. ive downloaded cccam 214 and installed it using dcc but still not showing in cam list.

Hi mate,i had the same problem last week,tried loads of ways,no good,ended up puting a new image on.

well after wasting a day i changed the image also,downloaded cccam and then checked the way the cccam files were inserted with dream control centre only to find they were the same way as i inserted them in the dreamelite image. :confused:

If you manually copy the files accross to each directory then you'll need to change the attributes for the exe files . Your best best is to search for cccam 2.1.4 in .tgz format , ftp it to the /tmp directory and then manually install it .

thanks again , ive tried all that allready with cccam 214, cccam 2011 did install and seemed to be running but when i checked in the cccm info it says ;sorry,check that cccam is running and your web info settings.

try this ,i did it in 5 mins,unzip the file ive attached you will find 2 folders,ect and user,so all files in ect go into ect on your dreambox,and the 3 folders in usr go into there relevant files ,bin,camscript,uninstall,,use DCC just open each folder and the file inside goes to the to same folder on the left(your dreambox)all attributes should be 755 do this by rightclicking once they are in dreambox,then goto dreamlite restart enigma2 and your cccam will be there

Even easier this can just be dropped into tmp then run via green then yellow buttons. That said thank you very much for the file it solved my issues!!

yes m8 easiest route ,that was the problem for me though the dreambox was not seeing anything in a few of the 2.1.4 files i tried,,found out why manual install files for Dream Elite need to be .del.gz ,thanks dumnonia
