Just been reading av forums and optima are about to release a box that will hook up to my projector that will allow me to watch 3d,carnet wait :001_005:

you also need a 120hz compatible projector. You dont have to wait for the optoma addon if you have a powerfull enough pc. You and use the avertv HD capture card to take you live 3D sat tv output (via hdmi) and set the 3dtv player (available from 3dtv.at) to take the capture card input Side by Side output Page Flip.

you will also need nvidia 3d vision £120 ish which also includes a pair of active shutter glasses

the avertv hd capture card is about £110. if you not interested in watching 3d content live you dont need the capture card, as long as you have a way of geting the content on your pc, maybe via usenet etc :) bit more messy than the optoma box option but theres no waiting around till thats released. Oh dont forget extra shutter glasses :) if you have a large family it gets expensive :)

if the 3dtv app is compatible with dvb-s2 pci cards then that also a good way to do it live with out the averhd cap card also :)
