auto phone sky??

With a Sky multi-room package, both Sky boxes have to be connected to the phone line to send Sky info.
1. any one know what info is sent & does Sky request the send, or is it sent at specific times
2. could the 500hd (which has a phone outlet) do the same thing?

early in the morning 3am ( i no as was a wake ) might be same on urs . the day the bill was due to bbe typed up.

defo wouldnt try from a 500 m8 for obvious reasons also against terms and conditiions to have it out of skys box
