Hi Folks,
I have an external hard drive connected to my 6900 super with about 90 gbs of various programs recording on it, I would like to edit some of the recording and then archive them to a DVD. I have tried using the 6900s on-board edit function but it is very slow, so I decided to connect the hard drive to my Vista lappy and see if it could play the recordings, and if so maybe I could edit them and archive them using the lappy...although the lappy recognised the hard drive and I was able to view the recording more or less as I could on the 6900, I could not get Nero, Cyberlink DVD Suite, or Windows Movie/Media Player to play the recordings.
So my question is, is there a piece of software or way of converting the recordings to allow editing on my lappy that would be faster than using the 6900s own edit function?
Thanks in advance
James.
