Brought my 63" samsung a few months ago, WC was outstanding in 3D, Ryder Cup was also excellent. SkyGermany and SkyItalia have also now got 3D channel up and running.
For me it was £ well spent, watch monster v alien the other day and it looks great. :respect-040:
Buy now i say.:respect-055:

I have no interest in 3D
Can't see it taking off for years.
Already bought a new 50inch LG plasma 50PK590 earlier this year and have no regrets.
On The Gadget show they reviewed some 3D tv's and tested that everyone that watched the 3D tv's, their heart rates went up, but those watching normal Blu-Ray their heart rate slowed down.
To me it proves that 3D is very stressful to watch! :)

Or more emotional.
After all, it's what you're looking for, emotion, aren't you?

Depends on your point of view
Gadget Show obviously saying it means viewers are more involved with the movie.

Hi guys, for all of you that w'd like to have a 3D tv i think you should have a litlle more patience so very soon (may be in Christmas time) Toshiba will launch what will be the first "full" 3d tv ever in the market so you d'ont need to use the f..k glasses anymore.

I've had a Panasonic VT20, the 3D is great and the best of the lot but the said has far to many issues for my liking, it soon went back. Samsung have a real crosstalk problem and you have to keep your eyes dead horizontal for the best experience, the picture is almost gone in a typical laying on the couch position. the Sony's have been released since.
3d is still not something your going to watch regularly though, watching 3d for more than an hour is hard work unless your used to it.
I managed to get a Pioneer LX5090 9g Kuro in to replace it( no 3d). Panasonic still have some improving to do to match the Kuro yet and they've had 2-3 years.I don't miss 3d ether.

its true tosh are bringing out 3d tv with no glasses, but the screen size is limited to 20 something inch at the moment.

to get the best out of 3D you need a huge screen, somthing that can fill most of your field of view 42/50" isnt big enough imo. Projection is the way to go :)
