Hi all,

just been given a Blade BM7000s does anyone know anything about them. It is 3D HD AND 1080i. It has alot of functions but I cant seem to be able to produce menu's for different satellites and bouquets.
Any help on this beast would be of great help.

Thanx

Well I think you will find it was launched at the Anga cable show on 19 September 2010 in Cologne Germany with the following features-Blade Media BM7000-S is a Full Hd 1080p 3D Ready Satellite Receiver With Lan,Usb Media Player and Personal Recorder
All Combined Into One product.
So thank you for all your help and input, I dont think so

Got one of these set up today, agreed HD is really good. I'm yet to try 3D but all good so far. Nice OS too, could do with a channel list thingymebob to install though

if you are wanting the latest channel data file ( CNDF ) layouts for your area (I believe they'll all be there soon)..
just go into the menu/IP Settings (press OK), blue for firmware update - then Blue again for edit the update server..
now overtype the 000.000.000.000 with blademedia.serveftp.com and save.
When you go back in, press OK and you'll see a list of channel lists pre-setup ..
choose the freeview S*y UK and choose from the London (or newer Mark 1) or other areas to suit..
10 seconds later - check your Groups button/Entertainment section. It should all be neatly organised for you

had one these for a week now and very pleased hd is working great record feature works fine you can record more than one programme at a time but they must be on the same transponder. The box is so easy to set up you just chose your region and it sets the stations good box for £150
