Well , this morning I decided that I'd had enough of that bloody fan . It had been getting worse for a while and lately it has been driving me nuts .
1) Top and rear cover off .
2) Internal HDD and tuner out .
3) Fan removed .
4) Turned fan upside down . Removed sticker and dropped a bit of WD40 onto the little spindle . Removed excess WD40 with a paper towel .
5) 800 reassembed .
Powered back on and now you wouldn't even know there was fan inside . Should have done it 6 months ago when I bought the box . BTW I robbed this procedure from one of the 800 clone forums so I can't take the credit .

i put wd40 on my fan within the dm800
but i managed to remove the fan by just taking the top off
it did not solve the noise problem
so i dissabled the internal fan and bought a netbook cooler from £land
this works fine

How to delete un used channels from my channel list.
Using Dm 800HD clone (factory preloaded with Gemini 4.5,BL 75,Sim2.01, CCcam 2.0.11).Please study the possibility of guiding me.

theres a tool called dreamboxedit that lets you do that but mate what has the original post got to do with what you want,we have a great forum here use it to your advantage,open your own topic on this subject and you will get detailed help,
