not happening here on 730p, 300 GB (none external powered USB drive)
do you use one of these to format the USB hard disc?:
Fat32format 1.05 & Win GUI fat32format 1.0.1.0 (https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?t=111179) <= click here

The strange thing is: if I use the blue (DELETE) the receiver reboot but if I use the OK button and then Exit doesn't reboot...
What is the meaning? Is always a bad format?

move everything of the hard disc (keep folder structure intact, if you have recordings you want to keep).
reformat with, perhaps errors on partition?

reformatted ok after deleting partition
so was errors on partition would not format without
deleting partition first.
decided not to save recordings as they was corrupt
and would not play on computer

Ok I formatted with GUIFat32format and now what's happened?
I can't record anything... the disc is not ready? Why? I don't understand...
about 5 hours to format my 500 gb HD... and then... Thanks for your help!

Mmmm it's working in this situation:

FILE LIST
/USB0 (Default disk)/RECORDS

1 [..]

DIR MODE (with red button)

With this I can use blue button (DELETE) and receiver doesn't reboot!

But in FILE LIST with:

FILE MODE

/USB0

1 Title example

The receiver reboot after DELETE!

Now I'm a little bit confused

@Sathappy Is hard disc OK?
Maybe something went corrupt in firmware/patch?
See if this helps:
It is important to download firmware and patches again
download 7zip and unpack the downloads with 7zip and nothing else
