can you tell me what is the latest or best tomtom to use in my in car dvd/sat nav unit that runs Windows CE 6.0. and do you have a link for it please.

I wish you the very best of luck, I have a Chinese GPS device running wince6, and although IGO and Garmin run OK, Tomtom is a complete pain, refusing to start with "not enough memory" error. This is common on units with 128 mb ram yet 64mb does usually work.
There is lots of information on various forums, search austech or gps underground or ipmart, please let me know if you have more success than me.
