What's the file extension?

Mkv2vob can remux to mpg, but is limited to the types of files input, you may have to run it through tsmuxer or tsremux or similar first to get it to m2ts for example.

Do you want to convert them or just put them in another container both are very different things one requires encoding and one doesn't, it also depends on what codec the original stream is MPEG or H.264

Why do you want to change them anyway ?

I managed to do it with Total Video Convertor . The video is a bit jumpy but it's watchable . Converting from "HD" TS isn't that easy . DVR Studio won't do it . At least V1.56 won't .

I want any container. MPG, MPEG, AVI, MKV because I use A110 PopcornHouer for playback my Video/Audio/Photos

I'm a bit rusty on the files the A110 supports cant belive it doesn't support TS files maybe its just ts/h.264 ?

If they are h.264 you could probably mux them into M2TS with "tsMuxeR" I'm guessing it plays M2TS/h264, no encoding required just changing container its worth a try assuming they are h264 media info would tell you this

_http://www.smlabs.net/tsmuxer_en.html

Alternatively off the top of my head demux them with tsMuxeR and them mux them into mkv with mkvmerge again no encoding so original quality

_http://www.videohelp.com/tools/MKVtoolnix

Just a small note if you go the mkv route make sure you select the video track then go to "Format specific options" and put in the correct fps

BTW you can drag and drop your files in onto the input window on both apps

mkv2vob should let you remux it to a mpg, m2ts, mp4 or avi. You can change the container in the configuration tab.

Or..... just follow TNT's steps above ;)

Personally I would use mkv container as its very versatile supports most audio and video formats

You certainly don't want to be encoding anything if you don't have to takes to long

Gone_Fishing

That reminds me PS3 media server supports using tsMuxeR on the fly over DLNA and it has a Popcorn Hour config or at least the beta version does so it should work fine just make sure you have tsMuxeR at the top under video files engine

The Sat operator I play with (Cyfrowy Polsat) use MPEG for SD and 264 for HD. I dont want to recode to any other. Just to store recorded files on my home NAS for future playback. I use Popcorn A110 for Audio/Video playback over home network.
So I can remux TS SD to mpeg container without problems. But the problem is HD content

The minimum recording time on ICECRYPT is 3 min. So HD TS file is aprox. 270 MB. I try to zip file but it is impossible to upload to the forum. How can I pass You the ts file?

Hmmm. I will copy once more from Icecrypt to my PC and to desired lokation. The file is playable when running direct from ICECRYPT internal HD. Probably there is H.264 compilant wideo stream

So please wait

No, Icecrypt record HD content is OK.
But when try to play that record in other software player or in other hardware may be some of the erors:
Sync Byte Error
PCR Repetition Rate
PAT Error
Continuity Count Error
PMT Error
Transport Error
CRC Error
PCR Error
PID Error
Transport Error Indicator
PCR Discontinuity Error
CAT Error ....

In yours case there was some minors PMT(Program Map Tables) and PAT (Program Association Table) erors and "doctor" fix it. :respect-055:

If you can play the file on VLC, you can also convert it to another format with vlc.

I have found it the quickest and easiest video file converter at the moment.

Looks like you need to find a copy of TS- doctor as it seems to work well

Your sample is probably becoming corrupt either during the upload or download or on send space which is why you should Rar files just tried again still corrupt

But as Dave5118 said TsRemux works fine just tried changing it to m2ts and demuxing to raw streams both of which can be used in MKVtoolnix (mkvmerge) to change to mkv assuming you don't just keep them as m2ts

I am no so familiar with linux but this should be good command line for TS doctor

"> ts-doctor-nogui -i input.ts" == for analysis
"> ts-doctor-nogui -i input.ts -o output.ts" == for fixing

it works with some older releses ...

OK, Probably it works with ver 0.7 (very old). Do You know the source for downloading such version? It is because today trial ver does not support such syntax.
