Hi all,
I just bought the VU+ duo and am using the factory image. So far I have been able to record to a Transcend external HDD and also to a USB stick from the front slot. I then tested an SD card via a USB card reader. On this occasion I was not able to set up the card as a hard disk.
I was not able to use time shift when nothing was plugged in, but when the SD card was plugged in I was able to use timeshift. I assume therefore that the box used the SD card to save the timeshift recording.
If this is the case , why could I not use it as a "hard disk"?
Any ideas?
