View Full Version : Enigma 2 & DiSEqC 8/1 Switch
Hi there,
When the .27 version was released yesterday i jumped on the bandwagon since it's supposed to fully support DiSEqC. The switch I use is a EMP Centauri 8/1 DiSEqC switch P.168 V2, P.168-W V2 and I have followed the setup used by DM800 ( http://www.emp-centauri.cz/pdf/DM800-168V2setupEN.pdf ) but no go. Does anybody out there use the same switch or similar and have it working?
I have removed the DVB-T tuner and reinstalled .27 but still no signal.
Any suggestions?

Put your Centauri switch to Diseqc 1.1 mode with DIP switch onboard.
Then configure only Uncommited input 1 to input 8 directly. Job done!
Centauri S16/1 PCP - W3 (see photo) which have 4 modes: Diseqc 1.0, Diseqc 1.1, Diseqc1.0+1.1 and Diseqc 1.2 the last mode operates like you would use motor 1.2 protocol.

Thank you for that info and pictures, made it so easy to follow and a great help setting up my dishes with 8in1 diseqc switch
Thank you naveh! :-)
My switch is however a little bit different and there's no way to set the DiSEqC type.
I have tried the same setting and the setting I used on the original image without getting any signal but it has come to my attention today that several other had the same problem so it might not be the switch settings that's the problem.
I can now confirm that with new driver in image .28 and these settings it works! :-)

I can also confirm that diseq 1/8 works great now on 1.0.28 :)
On earlier versions (1.0.25 or 1.0.27) I got no signal what so ever.
