Just found out that my motorised dish can't see 28e properly 'cos of my chimney. Would it be possible to use a diseq switch and run another cable to a fixed dish for 28e, and still control a vbox using diseq. Looks like it's possible in the tuner menu on Enigma2, but i have my doubts.

TIA, Dave.

Hi,

I have a fixed dish and motorised dish connected to the same receiver.

After some investigating I found it only works if the receiver is connected first to the motor and then through the switch.

So...

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxLNB on fixed dish
Receiver --- Motor --- Switch ===
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxLNB on motorised dish

dave i have it running now.
Using a Diseqc switch connect the vbox to LNB1 on the switch and the 28e dish to LNB 2.
Under advanced setting 28e set LNB to LNB2
Diseqc to 1.0
commited Diseqc command AB
command order commited,toneburst
depending on your switch you'll need to set committed to your switch spec.
As i say it may take some playing with the variables but should work.

Cheers m8, had a quick go this morning, couldn't get it quite right, was going to ask what settings to use....but no need to now :respect-063:
I'll have another bash in the morning.

Cheers guys, all sorted now :respect-054:

Just every now & then when I switch to 28e I get no signal, but when I change channel it works again, but I can live with that. :)
