remote problems

basically remote is not responding, brand new batteries and a piece of fag packet as well and nothing, what could i do to sort the prob

Make sure when you press a button the STB on the top
lights showing the spiderbox function is selected
also you can point it a a mobile phone cam you should
be able to see the IR emitor lighting up. They are strong take a few
drops but dont like any fluids

I have found that if you accidently press the av/tv button, the remote stops responding till you do it again and release the keyboard on the remote. hope this helps??

Same happens here, press the button on top of remote that says STB.
