Codec or file problem?

Good evening.
I found some audio DTS files in .wav & .dts format.
The problem appears when I try to play them with the box through network. Although the player starts and time counts I have no sound at all through my AVR.
The files are playable in my pc with vlc.
Does the box supports these types of audio or the files are bad???

If someone has his box connected with hdmi to an AVR receiver I would like a big favour:
Please download a 5.1 DTS .wav file from the net with google's help, try to play it and tell me if you have sound.
I know some sites with free sound tones but I'm not sure if quoting them is against the rules of the forum so if you like p.m. me)
