Image install help

Hi all,im wanting to change back to the Gemini image as every time i press the Audio button the Dreambox crashes using Blackhole img.Problem is,when i put my Dreambox addy in address bar,it takes me to web control rather than the usual page to install an image??any ideas how to over come this?,Thanx all.

I assume its flash you want and webinstall. If it is same as 8000 then there is a thread there on the 8000 site list between me and Oldfart, also you can go to dream-multimedia-tv/flashing an image via webbrowser. Two very important things are to1. make sure you boot up pc with ethernet connected and wi-fi MUST be off. Most pc's will default to this and therefore blot out ethernet. 2.Use crossover cable from PC to Dreambox. I assume you have all IP addresses assigned by the way. hope this helps. _ Brain

Swith box off and pull the power cord out of the rear, press and hold the buttom on the front right of the box - keep it pressed - put the power cord back in and wait for the IP to be displayed in the oled display - now type that ip into your browser and flash your new image.

When you have flashed your box's as many times as I have it becomes embedded.
