Whats the best way to protect dreambox from hackers I am hearing all this about backdoors and would like to know the best way of protecting me and my equipment.

I have a password in my dreambox is this good enough ?

Do not worry yourself bud, security is the same as it has always been.

Good password on dreambox, do not leave ports open especially 21,23 and 80
do not give post your dns on an open board and be careful who you share with.
