activation code for tom tom one required

I have copied a western european map from my friends tom tom onto mine and now it is asking for a activation code

the device code is :-

not sure what the map version is

Can anyone help with this.

What version of Navcore ?
What map version number ?
Have a read of the activation guide I've posted in here (& remove the DeviceID code from your post)

thanks for your reply, my mate bought a second hand unit without a map so he bought a card and copied a map on it so he cant get past the activation screen to see what version it is i will ask him to look at his original unit to find out what the navcore etc is thanks again

Either use Tomtom Home to update the navcore (& keep updating until no more updates are available) & then patch it, or try using the 8.204 version I've posted in the guide thread. If you use Navcore from Tomtom it will be v7.9** & you cannot use the maps with ALG & IQ Routes on it.
