39 east

cannot pick up any V channels, this is affecting only 39 east. any ideas?

Can't remember the details but I had trouble picking up many transponders on 39E - all other sats OK - and it was fixed by applying a lot of skew to the LNB (thanks to advice from one of our members here).

it could also be your LNB, can you pick up low symbol rate transponders (3889) and then very high, like (29500)

Are you saying you used to get them but you can't now ?
Or have you never had them ?

If the latter it may be that your transponder table is out of date - been a load of changes on that bird recently.

i have done a factory reset, now i can pick up a signal but its not strong enough to lock on, iv also noticed i cant pick up nova sp..ts which is [H]. My mate who lives 2 miles away picks up these signals

I hope that was a typo. All of the main Bulsatcom package has an SR of 30,000

N0va Sp0rt is 12647 H, DVB-S, SR 30000, FEC 7/8

As a test, try doing a single scan of that transponder with the values above. If it is still weak then try entering 12642 H and see if it improves. If not, try 12652 H. Sometimes the local oscillator in an LNB can drift off value by more than the receiver can pull in.

Why are you on 38.2E (not 39E) - is that the box readout ?

sorry m8 yes i used to get everthing on this sat.i can now only download 143 channels, the only transponders i can lock on to are 12688H 30000 12524H 12688H. the signal strength is almost nill on every thing else.Iv tried these new settings on both 38.3 and 39E AND 38.3 Is the strongest. I have to alter the east and west settings down a bit on some of the sats for the best signal
