Put them in usr/keys and usr/scce the file you get should tell you which ones to put where.

It says put them in var but thats a symbolic link to usr.

If you read your cccam.cfg (if you use it)


# what Softcam.Key should CCcam try to read

If there is no symbolic link in var then create the folder var/keys there and put the softcam in.

Can i use the posted file for 2.2.0 with the softcam already in, it is a mipsel file can i use that to self install?.

Well yes in a way there is or was a file posted i believe by Passette which included the softcam, in that file was a "Mipsel" which i believe is for dreambox etc.:respect-044:

How to install that paticular file or whatever else is needed that way all the files etc should be installed in there correct places?.:D

The latest is cccam 2.2.1 and there are different installation files for different images.

The mipsel file is for manual installation.

if its a .tgz or .ipk file then yes just send it to FTP then /tmp folder and do manual install ive done this many times with Enigma 2 reciever it works fine .

I have never use Gemini but i believe you need e2-mipsel-CCcam_2.2.1_101122.tar.gz file

Softcams is not some thing you select you need cccam/mgcamd/oscam... running on your box

Then you put the softcams on your box (best to use satans keys or minicats keys, google them).
