Hi
no mention of 3e according to lyngsat 2.8e rascom congo tv,,,, 2e astra 1 itv feeds,,,, 4e eurobird 4a 8 channels including al jaz sport encrypted,,,,, same info kos.

If its the feed channels @ 2e you need to know when 1 is live goto the nearest sat thats loaded in your stb then load freq for feed and use step mode ( 2 steps ) on dish to locate the freq on this bird.

Works with my setup hummy 2000hd and arion 8000hd 1.2mt dish on hth mount.

Hope this helps!

good luck.

I thought the same to be honest but here it is:
_http://www.satelliweb.com/feeds30.html

i did try that technique but as i couldnt find the sat listed on lyngsat I couldnt check to see what frequencies were active (the one I wanted was not active on an adjacent sat).

So i guess there is no easy way then?

thanks

I thought telecom 2A was defunct and sent to junk orbit in 2005.

On the link you posted, I don't think any of the reported transponder details have been updated since 2004.

The two feed sats Astra 1C and 1D are in inclined orbit at 2 East give or take about 0.2 degrees. Satelliweb don't have anything listed at that position so people pick the nearest (3E) and sometimes add a comment that it is 1D (see Leeds feed today) On my 6800HD I go to menu satellite setup hit ok and whatever sat you are on is highlighted. Hit OK again and scroll right past 78E and there are spare sat positions to add. Can't find how to tell it that it's 2E though. In menu advanced search you can then add transponders.
