Using RGB (COMPONENT) Video Out

Here are my settings in the US using the component output. You will probably have to change to PAL instead of NTSC. Don't know for sure. And 1080i60 to 1080i50. Just play around a little. The worst that I have found happens is if you have the wrong settings, that the box just hangs on boot up. You can still FTP in to change the file if this happens.

We need that they add the interface support and when they add it we can change all the video setting without any edit any file in ftp.

Yesterday i tested last enigma version with RGB connection in a crt tv but color had really poor quality. I roll back to original opensat firm but actually i can't test this setting that you have post. Cold be great if someone test it and comments results. :)

thanks the info Stein unfortunately it hung at reboot and I was able to FTP in due resue mode with a USB inserted but it seemed to be a really cut down version of the folders and files and the file I needed wasn't there ?

I am using scart not component and idea what syntax I might use ?

thanks dvlakovic this is the line I used with Editpad lite which is a unix txt editor...it locked at boot and seems to need a rebuild....

has anyone used this line with success ?

RGB should be independent of the colour system but it may be necessary to select PAL or NTSC to satisfy some internal routine in the box.

Can someone confirm is using RGB menu's adjusting are ok? With oficial opensat firm some menus and OS interface is not ajusting ok.

And we use RGB with 4:3 support??

Component is analog and scart is analog too (component and composite)
What are you trying to say?
Maybe the line should be different for scart and component RGB/YPbPr,but both are analog.
