Webinterface via https

Has anyone managed to access the webinterface via https ?

I can get through but I get asked for username and password.

It is not the same user and password which is set for telnet or ftp connection.

And I am not at home to be able to look at anything.

Are you referring to HTTP:// box ip address?

If so, then I am not asked for a username & password.

I have a fixed IP and via the webinterface I have set it up for https access, it looks like this
https://123.465.789.321:443

The IP is made up of course. 443 is the default https port, I can access the box except the user and pass does not work.

I have not tried that with my box, so can be of no help here.
