What file types are playable, HD?

I use my 9000 to play standard avi files occasionally but wondered if it will play hd files?

If it won't, apart from connecting the laptop up to the tv what other means are you people using to watch hd files on the tv?

Think it only play's avi file's m8,I use a HDXexperience to play mkv file's..

I use a Sumvision Cyclone - plays everything i have tried so far - best bit is i can rip a dvd and play it back as an iso file so it keeps all the menu's etc
