ive noticed that if i record a "feed" which obviously loses signal after a while...it cant recover.
i.e if i record a regular feed, lets say for example, if i record a feed every Monday morning on a timer, from 1am - 4am - i always add more time, just in case of over-runs etc....and lets just say the feed\signal stops at 3.15am, how does the box handle this?> I dont think very well.
from what i can gather, the box cannot recover and a further timed recording setup on an actual channel later that day say 7am - wont record as the box is in a state of flux....and then the menu's etc dont respond, and its an off and on job.
ALSO, annother annoyance - why does TIME COLLABRATION come up and move my dish every time i switch my box off an on, why doesnt it just remember the channel it was on!!!
