TP-Link WN321G works flawlessly.

In an S4000? If so, what firmware variant?

The WN-321G uses either an RALink RT2501(V1-3) or RT2070(V4) chipset and so not really relevant to the TL-WN821N. Thanks for the reply

The other TPLink adapter listed as compatible is the WN422G V1 which uses the Zydas ZD1211B chipset (Atheros now owns Zydas).
