Hi @ll,

testing since 4 hours new icvs image and new gemini plugin !
First impressions are very positive, nice grafics and easy "how to use".

The most important for me, is that i'm runing my 57 3C servers (and 4 smargos), without any network disconnection until now !
This is very impressive, because with all others images, i need to turn on both wired & wireless connections to get rid of Cccam disconnections.

Well done Guys... :respect-051:

CCcam doesn't care if you have a wired, a wireless connection or both.

1. Which CCcam are you using? Latest version seems to have better load balance although all your peers should have the latest version for this to work.
2. When you say you get disconnections does that mean that CCcam is killed, some users get disconnected, all users get disconnected?
3. Cpu and memory usage goes up if you have many cards, peers, hops. Have you tried reducing the number of hops or bad peers? Quality is far better than quantity.

Use these command to see cpu and memory resources usage. Anything that is near 100% is bad

top -n5 -d2 | grep -i "Cpu"
top -n1 | grep -i "Mem"

Tested 2.0.11, 2.1.1, 2.1.3, 2.1.4, 2.2.0 and 2.2.1 !

With or without oscam (for some of my cards), Diferent images !
The trick is, i lost connection with 3c and internet, and sometimes both.
I found the solution, runing both at the same time, wired and wireless !

Well, after 4h30 3c as disconnected, better then some others images.
I'm still testing this image.

Add: Same numbers and config on my 7020, no problems at all !

What is 3c?

You lost connection means that cccam is not responding, cccam is killed, the wireless network interface has gone down, the wired network interface has gone down,or what? Do you know how to check the above?

When using 2.2.1 and smartreader+ is the setup the same ie: as in 5.1 cam config in the same directory as before, and are the drivers included already or do we have to install them manualy? if so where from?.:respect-020:

Best Regards.

Yes mate, 3c=cccam , all gone down !
Can't ping, can't check 3C with webinfo, etc, only if i "restart network" on menu, i get it working again.
no prob. of cpu neither memory .
I read on some forums that you can't use more then 50 Clines, but i think that it was a limitation of 800, not 8000.

Using 4 smargos on my 8000 (and 2.2.1), no prob at all !

You need to setup your Smargo on your pc first !

Kernel = Normal (OE1.6)
Mode = Fixed (6.00)
T-mode = 0
Egt = 0

On your .cfg try this :
SERIAL READER : /dev/ttyUSB0
SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/ttyUSB0 6000000

This is Working for my Viaccess cards

We are trying to find what goes down.

From you description CCcam is not going down simply because you say that a network restart fixes your problems. There is no way CCcam gets executed with a network restart, unless you have altered the script that brings the network interfaces up.

Maybe your network interfaces go down anyway? Stop cccam, and see if your network interfaces go down. I hope there is no conflict in your local network causing you these problems. Are you using static ips?
