Can't move west of thor

I've just been giving a mate a hand installing a motorised system. We have got it working by first finding thor, and can pick up most sats east of there, but for some reason the diseqc H-H motor wont move west from thor. Why? It's probably something obvious, but I can't think what. Any ideas?
It's got dark on us now so given up for the night.

I presume you mean via the receiver? I tried reseting limits, but turning limits off sounds worth a try. Will ring my mate up later and talk him through doing that. I'll report back.

It can only be the limits sets through the receiver....
If not. I would eat my Hat!!!! (If I had one)

check mechanical limits also mate,the 2 slider screws

I've had the same problem and resetting the limits sorted it.

once you get them set right should be fine,well impressed with diseqc motors fitted a load in my time as engineer but ive always had 36v myself,usals has to be one of the best things to hit our hobby ,reliable every time must admit i thought id be forever shunting dish manually east/west but havnt had to once on my 39e>22w arc
