its been driving me mad for a while now, but ive just sorted it.
my picture hasnt been automatically shrinking and growing when switching between widescreen and normal depending on the transmission of an old program (only fools and horses) or new program (eastenders)
ive worked it out.
obviously the TV needs to be set to auto, BUT
on the V+ box - goto HOME, SETTINGS, CHANGE DISPLAY & AUDIO SETTINGS,
change the "V+ box HiDef output" setting to 1080 and not 1080 WIDE
sorted!
