adding picons to newenigma2

hi guys has any one any idea how to add picons to newenigma2 for the dm800hd i'm not having much look

heres where i am i can add the picons to dreambox edit and can see them great but when i send them to dreambox and refresh there not showing :respect-051:

Have you had a look with another ftp prog ?
Are your picons compatible ?

in the normal picon folder in var theres noting there so i presume its importing the picons to a different location
after having a look in media/hdd i can see the picons are in this folder on my external drive i really dont now if the picons are compatible with enigma2 new enigma image so i have downloaded an absolute load of picon so if it di work i would see a few
i also have enabled picons in the bluebutton new enigma settings

yes tried the online server never worked mate think its the newenigma image not very well supported
i have managed to get a full epg working the image is great for me better than black hole just would like to get the picons showing up

picons are skin dependant mate.in other words you may have to resize them to be able to see them with your particular skin.
if your skin supports them in the first place,you will need to use the correct size picons for it.also try using the 3D picons from IHAD they are awsome and i highly recommend them.also if i were you i would save them to the HDD as picons for all channels on all sats take up a great deal of space.Ian.

thanks ian but i did say the picons are placed on the hdd i have also downloded every skin available and it still dont work

hi sonic just checked the name on the hdd and it says picon so have changed it to picons and still no good

just checked theres also a picon folder in var with lots of sub categories and no picons
should i leave this alone ?

I can not imagine they go via var folder, picons take up a lot of space so should always be vie media/usb , media/hdd or media/cf

I get it Working on my 8000 and on Sd of Cf card :

Downloaded directly from Newnigma addons, Use Panel to active picons, Go to "osd setings" and choose picons Location.

Will test on 800se Monday.
