Hi all
I just received my 9000HD from goldwafers, plugged it in, but I am having problems to get it to recognize the 4 LNBīs on the switch. My 10+ years humax 5400 has never had any problems with it.
I have 13 on A,19e on B, 5e on C, 0,8w on D.
Doesnt matter what I do, it only picks 13e up, I know the switch and lnbīs are fine as I just doubled checked with my old 5400.
I have successfully patched it, but havent yet checked it gift are working yet.
Any advises?

Thank for reading, and merry xmas to you all!

PS: it was ages since i posted in this forum :)

if you are using the settings in installation-diseqc switch then you should have the following listed

diseqc 1 - hotbird 13e
diseqc 2 - astra 19.2e
diseqc 3 - sirius 2/3 5e
diseqc 4 - thor 3/5 0.8w

then go into the satellite search and set the diseqc port to 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 in the order as above and set diseqc uncommit to off on the actual 4 you are using and try again and report back

Hi there and thanks for the quick reply, I have tried that, but it doesnt do much, still only 13e as the only satellite available :(

ok, now try setting the uncommit to 1 on all 4 satellites but leave the port to the correct number of between 1 and 4 that match the simple diseqc setting, so hotbird would be 1 and 1 , astra would be 2 and 1

Done that, still nothing

in that case I would say your diseqc switch is incompatible with the spiderbox as it should have worked using one of the 2 methods above.normally I have found the uncommit needs to be off for most switches I have tested and also some switches seem to work better than others with the spiderbox. I dont think you can do anytthing else with the spiderbox apart from changing the uncommit back to off for all 4 satellites and try a different switch, and for the time being use the humax for switching and then place into standby and have the spider on loopthrough until you get another switch to test

That actually worked, using humax as you said! I will buy another switch, but how do I know what works?

you wont until you try them but I know the chess ones seem ok and maybe the satconn or triax too

sgar i have 9000 hd using 4 Lnb's the way i set up was to open Satelite seach go to Hotbird 13e go into DISEqC Port press the ( right ) > next to OK till 1 appears i then scanned Hotbird and saved. Next moved on to Asta 19e go down to DISEqC Port press > until 2 appears then scanned 19e and saved. Next moved to Thor 0.4 w down to DISEqC Port press > till 3 appeared scanned satelite and saved. Same on Lnb 4 as above. Also i left DISEqC UNCOMMIT off on all Lnb's . Well this was my way which seem to work okay do hope this help. Best johnhenry

Well, I think I spoke too soon,I have finally got some time to check things out, and I still have a problem with this.
I have a chees 4 way switch now, straight after installation it picked up all 4 satellites. But, i noticed something strange when i use the favourites on the spider and hop from one channel to another...if i go from an HB channel to another satellite channel, i will lose signal on LNB 2-3-4, leaving me just with HB (LNB1). I have to get out of favourites and go to "all" to get the other LNBīs to work again. So I though, OK I can live with this...until I noticed that if I am on a HB channel for a few hours, I will then lose LNB 2-3-4, and they DO not come back until I power off the box...by this time I am usually very pis*ed off, so i switch the box back the day after, and all 4 LNB work until I watch something on HB for a few hours that is :(
BTW, this happens even if i use the humax and loop it trough the spider.
I have a bad feeling about this. I ordered another switch (satcoon) I will check that when i get it.
