Can't log in to box via telnet

Trying to change my password but can't log into box accepts "root" but won't accept dreambox says not found.

If it works the same as my 8000 and password has not yet been changed you just enter root press enter and do not enter a password just root as username then proceed to change the password with the command passwd.
