I know I asked this question the other day (and thanks for your reply dr paulus) but I could not get it to work on my tm6900 hd super.
Here are the sat details:
3.0°E 11554 H 6609 3/4
could somebody give me a step by step guide to adding this sat to my setup. As it is not currently listed in my satellites I cannot do an advanced search, as this requires a satellite to select in the first place.
thanks in advance.

To add a satellite to the receiver
Go to the menu next sat setup.
On the top line go left till you get 0.00 press green to rename it,
and on the second line put in the sat position in degrees,
exit and save then scan

When I rename the satellite (0.0E) with 3.0E it appends the 3.0 to the end of o.oE so it looks like:
0.0E 3.0E
also the line below is the transponder and I am unabl to add anything to this.
any more ideas please?
(but this seems much closer than i've come before)

hi joany m8
1) rename the satellite,
so it looks like this > 003.0E exit and save > and after this it come like 3.0E, and I am unabl to watch nonething on my 1.1cm dish mate

How to add a satellite to the TM5200usb,{all TM5000usb series}
1/menu
2/change motor control to 1.2 & press ok
3/select & name a new satellite from spare satellites at the end of the list,
4/enter transponder data for one Tp ,
5/now go back to USALS to enter satellite position & press ok
You now have a new satellite all that remains for you to do is build up the data base via http://www.flysat.com/satlist.php or by a blind scan,
If you wanted to add Eurobird-9 @ 9 east & Eurobird-4 @ 4 east you can load the latest software then do a factory reset as all new satellites are in the data base of the TM5000usb series(5200,5300,5400,5600},
To add Astra 5A @ 31.5 east just change the data of Optus A3.
Thanks to William-1
I also found that you can do this:-
Staying in USALS****>
1/menu
2/sat set up
3/go to spare satellites at the end of list,
4/press green button & name satellite,
5/press yellow button to save,
6/go to motorized settings & enter satellite degrees & press OK,
7/now go to Advanced settings to add transponder data or carry out a blind scan & save.

I used one of the above methods on my 6800HD super.
Not sure what you are looking for @ 3.0°E though, Do you mean 2.0°E
mjon
Joany , my 6800HD does the same (can't change orbital position) Not a problem , call it say Astra 1C/D and save. Then if you go to advanced search you can add transponders. Use the ITN 4:2:2 signal on 11425V 3400 7/8 when the satellites are in the arc to confirm you get sig strength and quality. (as I've said on another thread it's not 3.0E just that a certain feed site doesn't have 1.8/2.0E to report a feed on so the nearest is picked)
