Networks uses that configuration ... WLAN or LAN ?

The problem could depend on not networking of Azbox (not find DNS-nameservice) ... especially at the start of the DD_Subt plugin !

If you remember the IP address used before, try to entry in FTP session and make a backup (local pc) of the folder-plugin DD_Subt in / usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/ ... after which remove the folder DD_Subt plugin on Enigma.
Reboot and everything should start up!

Otherwise, use a LAN cable cross connects directly to your PC & AZBox ... and start AZUp with DHCP ON ... to reinstall Enigma2 RC1 !

thanks no joy with folder plugin most folders after usr have a question mark with nothing on,can i make a lan cross cable from a lan cable plz and when it gets to 89 percent with filezilla it just says connection established waiting for welcome message then times out

If you do not have a LAN cable cross !?!

You can use an Ethernet hub, switch or router!

hi,

Please post the log content here so I can see where the problem is.
JaZUp always generate a log file in the ./log folder. Please also ensure that you use version 1.2

Can you also connect to your Azbox when it is in Rescue Mode with the usb stick in it and type the 4 commands and post here the results:

mount
sfdisk -l -uM /dev/sda
sfdisk -l -uM /dev/sdb
ls -Fal /mnt/root

@Robbo36

Hello Robbo,

Please use JaZUp! v1.2. We corrected some problems compared at V1.1 (see here https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?t=146146) Thanks.
If you are always the problem with v1.2, can you put you in rescue mode and connect you in telnet and type this command? Please, give us the reslut of each.

mount
sfdisk -l -uM /dev/sda
sfdisk -l -uM /dev/sdb
ls -Fal /mnt/root

Thanks.

Hello,

Your USB stick has a partitionning problem.
Please use the tools: HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool - v2.1.8 on your USB memory stick to set it back properly.
Copy again the patch.bin to it.
Power off your Azbox, insert the USB stick and power on your Azbox. Then restart the update with JaZUp 1.2.

If you read the User Guide in PDF format provided with Jazup 1.2 you will find at the end a download link for this tools otherwhise google is your friend.

This is not a JaZUp problem, the fact is that your USB stick is not properly mounted by the Rescue Mode.

If this previous work around doesn't work, connect in telnet when your Azbox is in Rescue Mode with the USB stick connected to it and type:

mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt/root

And start again the update process with JaZUp.

Hello,

When you type the mount command does it generate an error?
Please cut and paste the error message.

mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt/root

It seems that there is an error that prevent the USB key to be properly mounted.

Do you have another USB memory key to do a test with it?

Hello,

Please check in the /log folder of JaZUp since it always generates a log file for each update you try with it.
We are interested to see the log file content to see which problem you had when trying to install E2 with JaZUp?
