New Dream Elite image for DM800 released 22-12-2010

I hope you had a great christmas and best wishes for the new year :)

I have seen on other forums, that a new image for Dream Elite has been released for DM800 receivers, i noticed it hasn't been posted here and so wondered if anyone has tried it, my current Dream Elite image i been running with no problems, I am running it in flash and its a genuine receiver.

the new dream-ellite is not a blackhole image it's a different team
This is EDG-Nemesis Image with a DreamElite name
and to get the downloads you need you will also need to load a extra url
i have loaded the image on my dm500hd and it's very stable
and everything works first class and the hd glass 15 skin's very good,
and generally i'm very happy with it.

Got it on mine(ferrari version), very good. Doesn't have the PIG that the blackhole had, but definitely still better.

I need to ask a few more questions, if i do a software backup, can i restore it from there like this current Dream Elite image did, also does anyone why it hasn't been posted here, I usually give it a go once it makes it here, but I am wondering why no one has put it on here.

Anyone got the extra.url that is working with this image. I have tried two and still getting no connnection to the server. Nets ok as plugins ect can be downloaded.

EDG Team has left NDElite
statement from Omicron (EDG);

The independent team and will return only images on behalf of EDG-NEMESIS, the merger with DE did not yield the desired results because we have very different views, good new year 2011 new life to all.
and from Satrunner (NewDreamElite);

It's like the wife and the husband...did not agree and got divorced
Now NDE will keep it's own way with new coders and images.
Stay tuned
so it's good news that NDE will continue but it's likely to be a completley different style of image, which (imo) wont be a bad thing as it seemed pointless having 2 teams producing 2 images that were pretty much the same thing

Well i upgraded, it has to be said it wasn't too smooth for me, as the software backup it did didn't restore all my satellite positions, but luckily for me I did a manual backup, so I restored my satellites.xml and settings file manually along with my other important files, it seems to be working now :)

So remember as well as the software backup, do a manual backup if you have manual sat positions like me!

Strange, it's in my plugins, just below 'CDInfo'

Underneath CDInfo I have a plugin called Webinterface and StayUP, but nothing saying Cron Manager or anything similar, what's the name of the plugin?

Yep, Not very clever to have 2 "Diferent" Images, with same addons server.

have a go with the PLI image mate. Far better then this image.
In fact maybe best image i've come across so far.
Did load the PLI 2.0 beta but some niggling issues so tried
the PLI 1.0 and it perfect.

Has their been any drivers update recently, i keep getting sound dropouts on SD channels, I have to reboot my receiver each time this happens, any ideas guys?

Simple facts are that since Nabilo/Old Dream Elite lost their coder the 800HD has struggled to find a decent image team.

If you really want the best out of your 800HD original then learn how to use Oozoon image.

Bang up to date which really is important and gives you everything you need.

Stop trying to find something that is a little bit better, It don't exist any more.

you could try a reinstall mate mine is running perfect now on the last dream elite,freshened it up with a new skin that sonic posted no hiccups crashes whatsoever
