You can record on a share, but you need a usb stick.
Mount the directory /DATA/usb1/sda1/recordfile to your share.

you will have problems when trying to record HD content if its via EMU client. There is not enough processing power to do this over the LAN.
@happy
it depends on channel you are watching and your hard disk.
I have HD recordings without problem

my question relates to feeds \ hd content (FAT stuff) \ sd content.
so what do i do - on my pc upstairs create a share called AZBOX.
then on my Azbox, insert a USB stick, then mount the AZBOX share to the stick.
when i record, it will goto my PC?
thanks!

@tx0
the post is about recording on a network share, not a local harddisk.
@ManikM.
You will not be able to record HD encrypted content using MulticAs(or OSCAM) as a cccam client. The CPU doesn't have teh power. I have posted on this subject a while back, do a search. but if i recall, you will be able to record FTA HD and any SD content to an NFS share. I used Hanewin NFS server. I was also using Priority manager, my local USB stick was big enough for use as a swap space. Thats all i can remember off the top of my head.
