i want to run another receiver in the bedroom
at the moment i have a 1mtr motorised dish and a sky dish
i would like the motorised dish to fed upstairs,
i was told by an installer that running a twin lnb off a motorised dish, could be too much, running that and the motor.
i was looking at using one of the 2 leads from the sky dish. and running it into the lnb output of the main reciever then disconnecting it from the sky lnb and running it into the bedroom and into the 2nd receiver.
will this work and can i still control the motor

Can't answer your actual question however I've been using a twin LNB on a motorised dish for years, each half of the LNB feeding different receivers.

Maybe I'm wrong but I thought that each half of the LNB got it's power from its respective receiver hence the receiver controlling the dish motor wont have any extra current drawn from it. Have used several different receivers in my set up without problem.
