Well I had that a couple of weeks ago and reading up on it - if power saving is on and you don't touch the box for a period of time (eg you're watching a film or footie) then it will go into power saving mode and turn itself off - so turn off power saving in the Menu

Box isn't switching itself off,so much as rebooting ( switching itself off then back on) any way I have now disabled all power saving settings.

Well to eliminate all problems, I would ....
1.back up channel data udb only[menu/usb green button].
2.load patch S/W only.(not S/W All)
3.factory reset.
4.menu network turn back on, press 1111 to expand other options.
5.load your channel data back on, enter your long/latitude if needed.
If using softcams, then
6.goto key edit turn ucas back on.
7.reset key data.
8.load softcam.
Only 15 mins ;)

I Do switch My box off when not in use, but how does that help when box switches off then back on whilst watching a movie that runs past midnight or for that matter recording through midnight????? If my box was not being used it wouldnt be a problem!

Thanks already have box raised, this is not a overheating issue this reboot happens at MIDNIGHT only, never any other time, box can be on all day no issues on the stroke of midnight Re-Boot.

Do you have your computer set up to receive updates at midnight?
If so, I wonder if that can have anything to do with your problem.
I'm no computer expert by any means, just clutching at straws.
