pc streaming tools other than web inf..

anyone got any good tools for streaming to a pc, which channel list etc. i cant seem to find one with works right any ideas??

i used that before but i never got it to stream just came up with a playback error, do i have to enable something on the dreambox or have a plugin???

Doesn't the 800 have an in-built web interface like the 600 or is that just an Enigma 1 / Darkstar 2 feature.

Just put your box's IP address into the browser to see. You will need the box user/password combination.

Then if your browser has the VLC add-on clicking the VLC tab (see piccy) brings up a m3u playlist and ckilcking on that should give you streaming.

yeah but it doesnt go full screen. need something with will go full screen.

Who doesn't go full screen, your player? What player are you using, media player, vlc, something else?

If you are seeing the channel on VLC, go to Video tab and the Fullscreen option is there.

The biggest pain is that VLC drops the link if you change channels, so you have to re-start it. After changing channels about 10 times the whole thing locks up on my system. :frown:

I never had any problems using webif and vlc, no matter how many times i change channels.
