Not possible to record scrambled channels using CCcam_2.2.1 on Enigma2 Rc3.
Fta channels box records well.
Any ideas mates?

i use oscam as cccam server/cliente. without any problem at all :)
maybe u should try it, its way way faster and much better,opensource, more options,etc etc.

@hfmls

i dont know what dvbapi is , thats why i ask

hfmls

sorry, what do u mean?
just setup oscam to use dvbapi "dreambox" it's the same as azbox hd.

do you have to use oscam with dvbapi fixed from hxxp://oscam.ump2002.net/board/thread.php?postid=41134#post41134

hxxp://oscam.ump2002.net/board/attachment.php?attachmentid=5329

or

this one without dvbapi fix

hfmls

thats not dvbapi. thats a fix to make oscam open channels using OpenxCAS original firmware. It has nothing to do with Enigma2.
The version u use is oscam.mips, just like dreambox800

Please can you post the Link to the Version of Oscam you use?

Thank You

Not to create confusion on this topic but on a P+ recording of scrambled channels with CCcam_2.2.1 works perfectly with E2 RC3 for me.
Recorded to USB stick, USB harddrive and Network attached share

Does this include recording scrambled HD content on 28.2 to network share?

@happyhammer

Yes that includes recording scrambled HD content on 28.2 to network share.

Abviously the recoreded TS file can at this moment only be looked at on a PC / other media player that supports TS files (as .TS playback on Azbox is not yet implemented/working)

Well thats a big achievement, this simply was not possible with original firmware, due to procesor load and throttling of LAN speed( and probably MultiCAS).
see here..https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?t=135250&highlight=recording

Maybe you can can enter telnet command "top" during this recording to see cpu load?

@cjjdool
i have azbox elite.

ith Canal + or fox the .ts size 1 kb -- 1 minute
and with a FTA channel 4 mb --- 1 minute

I will record a scrambled channel later today to a network share and post the file size plus CPU usage.
It amazes me how different the AZbox models seem to behave. I believe it is time to ask some questions to AZbox on this as it can (almost) not be coincidently any longer....

Ok.
I prove with CCcam 2.1.2 and record ok!!
EDIT: many cuts in the image while record

Thanks for your respond. I have downloaded the "os*****vn4555-light-Distribution.tar.gz" and spent 3hours and a bit and I don't have idea what to do about this file. I've checked in google but i could find how to run it on Dreambox using RC buttons only. Could You give me general tips what to do, please?

Many thanks in advance.

Not for me. I can record on a P+ without problems even to a network share.

Thx
I always work on Elite model and for me works okey too. I was thinking it's CCcam version and maybe some problem regarding setting PIDs for descrambling, but for you works.
Maybe some other config or something else affecting recording, right now nothing on my mind regarding this ...

The PIDs could be an issue, I've a clean channel list with only those satellites in it I use and all channels are scanned recently and are updated.
I can record and playback without any disruptions what so ever.

@kevinch9
Perhaps your recording device is slow / fragmented , or if you record over the Ethernet you have a highly utilized network?
See if rescan the transponder you record from helps?

I've recorded two scrambled channels (one SD and other HD) on Astra 19,2º using CCcam 2.1.2 and it worked perfect. No problems viewing channels while recording is on.

Before this I tried 2.1.4 and 2.2.1 with no succes.

Not exactely , for me witch cccam 2.2.1 i had freeze after 5 seconde

I replace cccam 2.2.1 by cccam 2.0.11 , i had the same problem freez after 10 seconds and stay freezing

Then a replace cccam 2.0.11 by cccam 2.1.2 NOW WORK perfectely on HD and SD channel

SO CCcam 2.1.2 Work perfecty for recording

ps:
i had AZBOX HD PREMIUM

Here I report my test on Premium HD!

Like everyone, the problem of the block on the recordings and view, is after just a few minutes and lasts from 35 to 40 seconds of media ...

Tested with CCcam 2.2.1 - 2.1.4 - 2.1.3 - 2.1.1 with local NET and recording on SkyIT HD ....

While, with CCAM 2.1.2, registration continues perfect for much longer time, but then it's always breaking (about 40s), which is also confirmed by reading TS files (with VLC).

However, CCcam in verbose mode, no there were problems (odd / even or for took ecm-time) ...

friends, just wait a minute: for me the problem was on oscam server. When i solved every cccam I tried worked, if you connect with an Nline to your cardserver try using Cline i'm pretty sure you will solve your problems. I tried with 2.2.1 2.2.0 2.1.4 2.0.11.. so I'm sure is not an e2 problem, but a server one.

I do not believe you can write "like everyone". I have no problem what so ever in recording scrambled channels with v2.2.1 as reported with backup data in this thread. Also some other users report a working 2.2.1 Cccam

Since ... I can not fix the thread ...

Let's say .... as some of us! ... and I am one of them!

But the problem is still there!

And nobody is saying that depends on the version E2_RC3 ...
we are reporting only the tests done with this version ... That's it ;)

I have checked CCcams: 2.1.2 2.1.4 2.2.1 and no one is working. I'm trying to set up oscam but it's another story. I have installed all CCcams. do I have to have installed just one CCcam and uninstall rest of CCcams?

cjjdool
22-01-2011, 06:29 PM
@kunter

You should only have one CCcam version installed

In order to have CCcam v2.2.1 installed in the same way for all to test recording I suggest to use the following:

- remove (all) CCcam versions from your receiver (do check if all is removed from all directories
- Install attached user_script plugin in you receiver (if not installed already
- Use attached ipk file to install CCcam v2.2.1
- add your config lines to CCcam_2.2.1.sh

Use enigma2-plugin-extensions-userscripts_2.4-r4_mipsel to start CCcam
