Hi Guys I brought up this problem a while ago but I never solved it.

Basically the audio/video on all the NBC/MSNBC feeds (DAD-2 etc) on 15deg West doesn't match.

Does anyone else have a 6800 non-super that can view these without this issue?

Only showing the fiber ID at the moment and the video stutters a bit on mine. I vaguely recall being able to select NTSC on a previous technomate box and that sorting it but that was a couple of years ago and you can't do it on my 6800HD. I'll dig the 5500CI out later and try it if it's really bugging you. Didn't have the freq stored so never bothered before with this box.

Its ok, I'm happy as long as I know there's nothing that can be done. Thanks any way though!!

I used to take the output (via scart) to a DVD recorder that was NTSC & PAL, so it received incoming sound in sync with B&W picture and outputted Colour Video with sound in sync in PAL.

Shame that DVD recorder died and my new one is SECAM & PAL.

I think its the PAL-G setting that gives you B&W picture with the sound in sync, but then you need something to convert NTSC/PAL-G to standard PAL.

They have other feeds on 10E & 12.5W which sometimes use PAL, but I generally used the NBC New York feeds on 15W to watch tv, and dont stay up that late now, just torrent the shows. (But MSNBC is the same in pricipal to NBC-4)

(Or something like this)

Just to let everyone know - I plugged in my old 5400 today and no issues at all!
