Hi

Do not change image because you can not load softcams from their server.

(maybe soon you do not have any images to use :) )

Just upload them manually and keep that image what you like.

Eg. DE and blackhole do not support them also.

So have to install manually.

At least Vix still support them, at the moment anyway.

I don't think they will have that facility soon, thin end of the wedge/start of the rot and so on.
Users will have to learn to install their own emus now.

Damm.
Has been years since i tried to load a softcam manually.
Will try find some info when I get home from work, and post here, but if anybody already knows, then will be useful.
I guess is something like load manually to var/bin or var etc, then go to manual install panel.
Comments welcome.
No need to abandon the image because of this :-)
Cheers.

OK!

I got a version of Cccam 2.2.1 for you all:smash:
Is an .IPK file so you can FTP it to var/temp, and manually install it with the IPK manual installer panal in your images.

I zipped it up for all to download.

I tested it on my Vu+.

Works a treat!

If you guys need any other Cams i'll try find them and upolad them for you.

Never worry peeps :respect-055:

There's lots more floating about the web if you look , no reason at all to abandon an image it's the way all images are headed I think.

the problem for many is not installing the emu but the start script, as gemini has a different one, PLI a different and BH a different one

If you get the package for your particular image should install the correct start up script also.
