ive just decided to buy the hd9000 from our sponser but am a bit concerned over setting it up, at the moment i have a techno 5400usb with a vbox positioner which i eventuallymanaged to set up (dont ask me how)but the spider box seem more complicated having to connect to the web etc, also will i still have to use the vbox, and is there a blow by blow installation & setup guide written for people like me suffering with lmf (lacking mental faculties)

Write down the positions of the satellites in your current receiver. When you get your spiderbox, set it all up WITHOUT connecting the LNB cable. Using DiSEqC setting edit the positions of the satellites by pressing the yellow button on your remote control to the same saved numbers you noted down. Save each position. Reboot it. Next turn it off and connect your LNB cable to the receiver.
It will have the same positions you now use and you're all set.

You can use :
-a long ethernet cable
-the internet plugs you can buy from the sponsor here
https://www.goldwafers.co.uk/Home-Plug-Network/
-or connect wireless using a wireless bridge you can also buy from the sponsor : https://www.goldwafers.co.uk/Vonets-VAP11G-USB-WiFi-Bridge-IEEE-802.11b-g.html
