There is new Enigma 2 for AzBox HD DS Team 3.0.4

Based on SVN 30.01.2011 - KERNEL and DRIVERS

Change log:

- New Kernel from 26.01 ( Linux AZBox 2.6.22.19-19-the_ripper #216 PREEMPT Wed Jan 26 19:22:07 CET 2011 mips GNU/Linux )

- New em8634dvb.ko ( Added support for .TS File playback and TimeShift is now supported too )

- Several fixes in .py files for better stabillity

try a different usb stick - make sure the stick is safely removed in windows so it doesnt corrupt the FAT.

make sure there is only one dhcp server running on your network - 2 devices could be getting the same address?

Thanks Kinace for your help i tried that but after it finished first stage ie writing new kernel azup is stuck on check rescue mode i still can telnet and ftp but no joy any other ideas pls thanks in advance:confused:

I tried to return from the DS Team Enigma 2 3.0.4 image to RTi core RC4 Enigma 2 using jazup.

Unfortunatly, the box hung in the rebooting stage, requiring the YAMON monitor recovery utility to get the box back to normal.

Maybe that's your problem also.

It's amazing because we copy always the kernel with jazup.
Can you give me more information ? Example : Do you install E2 on USB stick ?
Can you give me the log file in log folder ?

in my case what i did is:
format usb stick (500mb)
put e2 ds team version based on rc4
switch off box
put the stick in front panel
switch on box
formatted application area
start azup wrote ip add
was going to install on dom
azup started upload untill first reboot it stuck on:connecting>login> login success> check rescue mode
then i get message: connection to service failed pls switch off and then on your AZbox and try again
also tried Jazup but it says connection timed out
can't recall how many times i tried with dhcp on/off switched off all other devices in the including mobiles. Istill can log in using putty and i can ftp as well

Tried also to put original firmware but the box or azup wont respond vfd stuck on the ip address192.168.1.xxx
az premium is the box :confused::confused::confused::co nfused:

Do you have connected AZBOX to internet by WLAN or LAN? You should choose LAN.

the box is stuck on displaying ip on vfd and am using rj45 cable

Hello,
Jazup don't found your azbox.
In your case, you must use ethernet port and verify if your firewall stop jazup. Wifi mode isn't support by the rescue mode. Use Search ip to find ip of your azbox.
In dos console try to make a ping of vfd ip adresse, if ping don't anwser you have a problem on your network.
Please read do***entation, you can resolve 98% of probleme if you read the manual.

Thanks Hectore for you reply i did check settings including dhcp ethernet cable everything ok tried pinging az box ip and i get a reply is there any other way to bypass this {box stuck on 192.168.1.xxx} azup stuck on check rescue mode jAZUP on connection timed out, of course am using ethernet cable or should i assume the box is dead ? which is my worry

Hello,

If azup can connect and not jazup, i'll look at firewall level.
You must accept javaw.exe in firewall rules.
