View Full Version : Oscam IPK for running a valid card in internal AZBOX reader

Hi.

If any of you, like me, struggled to get your private owned SECA card running in the AZBOX internal reader this IPK might help you out.

Install instructions:
- First install the "enigma2-plugin-extensions-userscripts_2.4-r4_mipsel.ipk" this plugin will allow you to start/stop/restart and auto start Oscam module
- Copy attached userscript ipk to the Azbox /tmp directory and make sure file attributes are set to 755 (chmod 755 filename)
- As root in a terminal window type: "ipkg install /tmp/enigma2-plugin-extensions-userscripts_2.4-r4_mipsel.ipk"
- Now copy attached oscam ipk file (enigma2-plugin-camd-oscam-1.00-trunk-svn4682-mips_svn4682-mips_mipsel.ipk) to Azbox /tmp directory
- Again make sure file attributes are set to 755 (chmod 755 filename)
- As root in a terminal window type: "ipkg install /tmp/enigma2-plugin-camd-oscam-1.00-trunk-svn4682-mips_svn4682-mips_mipsel.ipk
- Now go to Azbox "Menu" => "Plugins => "userscripts" and choose "execute User Scripts from /usr/script"
- I here you see "oscam-1.00-trunk-svn4682-mips.sh" , choose it and execute options you want

That is it, the script will be able to "add" the needed auto start script in /etc/rc3.d directory so after reboot all still works

One note, I setup Oscam such that it ONLY runs with your local card in the internal reader, you have to stop CCcam if it runs as this config will not allow Oscam and CCcam to run side by side. The goal here it to have the option to use the Azbox with internal card reader and valid inserted card without having any network connection.
You can of course, modify oscam.conf, oscam.server etc to have a different configuration.

This has been tested on a premium + with valid SECA card

Can you post the oscam.conf oscam.server files only?

Hi

It does not work for me...
All done like above, all installed ok but my seca card shows nothing!
Oscam doesn´t appear in camdmanager?

@Juka

It is correct that Oscam does not show in Camdmanager. Use the userscript plugin to start/stop/restart Oscam.

In /tmp/oscam.log you can see "clues" to what might be you problem.

When doing #ps aux you can see if oscam is running

After seen more details from your log:

Seems your card is read ok but your CAID / provider needs to be changed in the file "/etc/tuxbox/config/oscam.server"

From "ident = 0100:00006a" to "ident = 0100:005221"

Let me know if this solved your problem

well I bless my official sowtware bybyby

Thank you!

Try edit the file "/etc/tuxbox/config/oscam.server" and change line ""ident = 0100:00006a" to "ident = 0b00:000000"
AND edit the line "caid = 0100" to "caid = 0b00"

I did not get internal reader to work with my conax card, but I did get it to work with an external. USB2Serial pl2303 + Adteknik MP 3.4 and Adteknik Phoenix USB both setups work fine.

@2jj
Your settings seem fine, but I guess you get stuck with er05. I guess there are still some driver bugs that need fixing, maybe if we are lucky next release will help.

I cannot be sure if a Conax card will work as I do not have one but I can say that Oscam with CCcam does work if you setup the CCcam reader and user.

Is it just the oscam client that dosen't work with Conax cards?
Have read in other threads that they have oscam as server and cc as client with Conax cards and it works, is this false information?

Hi,

I've here a original smartcard which I also want to use in the internal card reader. It is a HD+ Card with Nagra security mechanism.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HD%2B
CaID:1830

Is this also possible with your script and OSCam?
I use it currently with original firmware and OpenXCAS and MultiCAS in the internal card reader.

Thank you

Oscam works with Conax but for now only with external card reader, it works both as server and as standalone (dvbapi enable).

@stephanst

It is likely that your HD+ Card will work with this ipk setup, as I do not have that card I cannot try it out for you.

Remember that if you decide to give it a try you ONLY should have to edit your CAID and ident lines in the file "/etc/tuxbox/config/oscam.server"

from "CAID = 0100" to "CAID = 01830"
From "ident = 0100:00006a" to "ident = 01830:000000"

@2jj

To setup Oscam to get keys from a CCcam server you need to add a [reader] section in oscam.server like:

[reader]
label = cccam_reader_1
enable = 1
protocol = cccam
device = cccamservername,portnumberused
user = username on cccam server
password = password on cccam server
inactivitytimeout = 1
reconnecttimeout = 30
group = 1
blockemm-unknown = 1
lb_weight = 100
cccversion = 2.1.3
cccmaxhops = 10
cccwantemu = 1
ccckeepalive = 1

that should be all.

you can also connect via HTTP to your oscam server by: http://192.168.x.x:10001 to see many options you can set

isn´t it possible to run the internal card reader in cccam?

For nagra cards you can try adding in oscam.sever
[reader]
label = azbox_internal
enable = 1
protocol = internal
device = /dev/sc0
nagra_read = 1

could it also get not running also with nagra_read = 1

That is unfortunate, looks like your card is not supported by Oscam/Internal Azbox reader

I can only test with Seca , I do see that for some other cards the clock and frequesncy is different and set in oscam.server to:
cardmhz = 357
mhz = 357

For Seca it is:
cardmhz = 357
mhz = 500

Cryptoworks card worked too.

I have Irdeto Cryptoworks and set
cardmhz = 500
mhz = 500
Need restart box an card is up!:respect-055:

Hmm, I've tried, but for me it doesn't seem to work.

I have a Premium HD, one of the earlier models., running RC4.

2011/03/03 17:14:27 2C4914B0 r ERROR opening device /dev/sc0
2011/03/03 17:14:27 2C4914B0 r Cannot open device: /dev/sc0

Can this message be caused by a card problem, or is it the reader which is not accessible?

I get the same error message.

How to set up the box for using the external cardreader?
I have two different USB cardreaders, C*ardman 3121 and a GemPC Twin
Not sure if any of these are supported, though..

I did try to change the .server file to use /dev/ttyUSB1 but it still wont work.
I get the same messages as before, Error opening device /dev/ttyUSB1

I think that with RC5 is not working. I have also tried to create the node /dev/ttyUSB0, but nothing.

Some are reporting that smartreader+ is working with RC4.
